Coppélia, a French artist and passionate environmentalist, now calls the dynamic urban landscape of New York City her home. Her artwork fuses surrealism with elements of the natural world, primarily showcased in large-scale collages. Her environmental sciences studies at Harvard University have profoundly enriched her passion for capturing nature's beauty and complexity. Over two decades, Coppélia's unwavering commitment to sustainability and climate advocacy has strongly influenced her artwork. Her creations are a testament to her belief in the critical importance of preserving nature.
While large-scale collages are Coppélia's signature medium and characterize her unique style, she regularly explores pastels and watercolors. Each medium offers her a unique canvas to express her profound admiration for the splendors of nature.
Coppélia recently had the honor of being the featured artist at the annual collective art exhibition in Bougival, France, in January 2023 and 2025. Bougival, renowned as the cradle of impressionism, provided a significant backdrop to her work. Her distinctive landscapes and botanical creations were the focal point of the exhibition.
